Have you copied the Windows install CAB files onto your harddrive to make changing drivers easier, and would like to have Windows stop asking for the installation CD? Well, AnalogX BanishCD does it for you! And better yet, not only does it change the path that Windows will look for the CD, but it also saves the previous path, just in case!

Operation is as simple as it gets; run the program and it will show both the original path, as well as the current path. The just click on 'Change Path' and select the directory where you have the Windows CAB files - that's it! If you want to need to change it back to the original path for some reason, just run the program and choose 'Restore original' and voila! It's back to the way it was before!
