Tired of hauling around one of those lame rhyming dictionaries? That's like so 1980's man! Why not lug around a notepad computer instead, equipped with the latest in lyrical technology - AnalogX Rhyme!
Running AnalogX Rhyme is as simple as it get's, just doubleclick on the Rhyme icon. You'll be presented with a dialog box, with the word 'intensity' in a edit box. This is where you type in the words you want to rhyme, once you've punched it in, just slap return, and see what rhymes with it! It's that simple!
Well, actually, it's not quite THAT simple ;) If you find that you didn't get any matches, or if you get too many, then you can narrow them down by adjusting the syllable and phoneme counts on the right of the dialog. Syllables are pretty cut and dried, if you aren't familiar with what they are, I don't know how you've been rhyming! The phonemes are a little bit more complicated, but just think of them as smaller syllables, so 2 phonemes is almost like 2 syllables. This is really a bad analogy, since in the real world they have almost nothing to do with eachother, but for using the program, and getting good rhyming results, that's an easy way to think of them!
The COPY button copies the word you're rhyming, plus any words on the returned list that you select, into the copy buffer. The buffer will look something like this:
intensity:
ABILITY
AUDACITY
CAPACITY
VICINITY
This is especially handy when you are actively writing a song, and can just paste the matches you like into the word processor you're most comfortable using.
