In response to a post in the Cakewalk newsgroup back in the good old days (all the current Cakewalk products support this), I wrote this very quick little utility, which allows you to invert the phase of a DirectX audio stream. Not terribly useful for anyone who's using just about any other digital audio system, but for the ones that don't support this most basic feature, it's a real godsend.
In order to use Phase, your application must support DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support either realtime or non-realtime processing (such as Paris, Cakewalk, WaveLab, CoolEdit, etc). Phase will work with any number of channels, and supports either 16bit or 32bit data types.
Phase works on
all versions of Windows, from Window 95 to Windows 7 and everything inbetween (including XP, Vista, Win2k, etc). If you have a general question related to any of the programs on the site, or would like some additional info related to the downloads in general, then check out the
downloads FAQ.
