What?! Another incredibly small and surprisingly useful program? Of couse, nothing but the finest from the programming factory and music production facility commonly known as AnalogX. As with almost all of my programs, just put the .exe in whatever directory you want, and doubleclick on the icon. You can convert from frequency's into notes (or cents), or vice-versa. All calculation use A0 (27.5hz) as their lowest value.

This version supports fractional frequencies (ie. 440.15), as well as fractional notes (ie. A#4+12) for those pushing the envelope in sonic mastery. The format for notes is as follows:

First character is the note, followed by a '#' to represent a sharp, or a 'b' to represent a flat, then a number representing the octave, and finally either a '+' or '-' representing a cents offset (-50 to +50). If you're confused, just check out the note calculated by the frequency, and you'll get the hang of it.

If you minimize the application, it goes on the system tray (lower right, by the clock), just left click on the icon to bring up the app again.
